What you’ll need

1. Install the plugin (3 min)
- Download the plugin ZIP from the link above
- WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Choose the ZIP → Install Now → Activate
✅ Success when a “Zaffro” menu appears in the sidebar.
2. Activate your license (1 min)
- WooCommerce → Zaffro → Settings
- In the License section, paste your key (
ZAFFRO-TRIAL-…) - Click Activate
✅ Status becomes “Active (STARTER)” or “Active (PRO)” depending on your trial tier.
3. Store basics (3 min)
Under Zaffro → Settings:

Keep AI mode on “Cloud (Zaffro server)” — no own API key needed during the trial. Click Save.
4. Customize the system prompt (optional)
You can tailor the agent’s personality and product knowledge to your store — but the default works fine as-is, so feel free to leave it. If you do edit it, keep these variables intact: {{catalog}}, {{max_discount}}, {{date}}.
5. Per-product max discount
Product → Edit → General tab → “AI max discount (%)”. 0 = no haggling on that product; empty = use the store-wide setting.
6. Test it (2 min)
Open your storefront in an incognito window → click the 💬 chat button in the corner → say hello and ask about a product. Then try haggling (e.g. “Can I get it cheaper?”).
Important: simply sending a message will not show a buy button. Only once you and the agent agree on a price does a buy button appear in the chat, taking the customer straight to checkout. The button is the result of a successful negotiation — not of just typing a message.
No 💬 chat button on the storefront at all? Check that the license is active and the chat widget is enabled in settings.
